Our Programs

Safety is our priority. Exploring ability is our goal. Our instructors and therapists work as a strong team with specially trained volunteers who accompany each client. Our therapy horses are familiarized with special saddlery and equipment, wheelchairs and walking aids, and atypical mounting and dismounting procedures.

Through teaching equestrian practices, including exercises and school figures, obstacle courses, and competitive games, we challenge our riders to grow in ability and confidence– to raise the limits of their ability to greater heights.

Each rider is unique. For that reason, we do not dictate the length of time a rider remains on the program, except when horseback riding becomes medically contraindicated or the rider could continue to progress in an able-bodied riding program, thus freeing a place for a new applicant.

"When I am riding my horse, I feel like any other young man enjoying the feeling of power and freedom."
